Confession Wednesdays: 11

Homecoming, is awesome.

Especially when your roomie/sister/close friend is the Alpha Delta Pi homecoming chair, your boyfriend is the homecoming chair for Beta (our date), and when you are the Vice President of Homecoming Communication, Liaison, and Middle manness (VPHCLM).

This has been such a fabulous week (thank goodness I didn't really have any homework, papers, or tests... because that would be greatly sucking the fun out of this week.

Having your sisters spend an entire week with a fraternity you have become extremely close with over the last 2 years is quite a treat.

More next week!

senior year dream.

Reality Check

This is the 21st Century- smoking is sooo out.

Now, I have quite a very many opinions on this topic because of several family losses, so I'll keep opinions to myself. But, I felt it necessary to inform any smoking readers that smoking is no longer cool. Plus it's unhealthy (in case you many not have heard).

gross.

Family Weekend: part 2

I love my parents. I always have but its incredible how much more you love and appreciate them when distance is a factor. But I digress..

Saturday morning my parents came into town, and we went to the ADPi and Beta Parents Weekend BBQ (in case I haden't mentioned, we're paired up for Parents weekend and Homecoming = the dream senior year).

Food was good, the parentals got to see what Beta (or as my dad refers to it as Dustin's dorm), and getting to mingle with so many people was awesome.

Afterwards we went out to Gentle Bens for a little tailgating... which, was a good time. Then off to ADPi (first picture).

Game time = awesomeness. Minus the fact that we lost.

Afterwards we went out to La Fuente for dinner and margaritas, delicious! Plus, Im loving guacamole more and more.

When dinner was over Dustin, Dad, Mom, and I headed to the local tattoo parlor! We have had a matching tattoo planned for some time but we decided a few weeks back that this would be the weekend. David, an awesome guy, was our tattoo artist. Mom didn't flinch at all! Mine was a few inches higher on my wrist and it hurt just a little.

Sunday, Mom and Dad came to the Alpha Delta Pi brunch, which was really nice. They had to leave a little earlier than I would have wanted because I had to work, but all in all it was a wondrous weekend.

I love my parents <3

Family Weekend: Part 1.

This weekend was parents weekend, and I had a blast. But ironically, my weekend tales don't start with my parents because they didn't get in until Saturday.

Thursday was Miss Sarah's surprise birthday party :] Super fun! It was exciting to be on her side of it, but as of now I'm pretty sure I've never been on the sneaky side of the surprise. haha

pi love.

In a nut shell, it was awesome.

Friday was the College of Science academic awards ceremony, where I got my first cord for graduation! boom baby!

For dinner, Dustin and I went with his parents to dinner at Oreganos-we all had such a fantastic time :)

Later that night Nicki showed up to t-town and we all went to Mallonys. Blast-a-roo!

So, Nickis birthday was celebrated a few different times.

You've already seen it here, but this celebration included Dustin, Kier, and Anson as well!

We went to The Cheesecake Factory on Friday October 1 for some deliciousness.

Confession Wednesdays: 9

I've been looking into buying a house.

The whole plan is contingent on me getting into Pepperdine, so hopefully that happens or we're going to have to start from scratch.

But yes, I have been looking into realty.

I'm looking for a 2 bedroom condo in Orange County (not like the rich-y OC you think of, the more mainstream stuff).

Around $100,000.

Purchase time (if I do), sometime in June-July.

What would be most amazing... I have a potential roomie already. And let me tell you, shes awesome. Who wouldn't want to live with a Nicki? :)

I guess we'll see what the future holds!

life surprises.
