The Eternal List of 100 Things to Accomplish in Life

So, my eternal list of 100 things to accomplish in life was "given" to me by a previous teacher, and now friend, Kate. The idea is that we never complete our list- I am always striving for more, and to try new things.

So you continuously add, and continuously delete. Not finishing something on the list isn't a failure, it's a reminder of something you once wanted, but times change and so do our desires.

Also, many things on my list are things I have done but want to do again.

Or things that I do, but continuously strive to do better.

What would be on your list? Why don't you make one?

the beast.

The time is drawing near. Time to sell the '96 Camry. Bummer.

pause

Not.

But the next question (while I wait to actually have all the funds) is what am I going to get?

Current options:

VW bug
Nissan something
end of list.

I think I need to work on this a little. Basically, I think it will be helped by actually going to test drive cars.

Sunshine and Sumertime

Well... not quite yet. But it has been beautiful weather. Which has its benefits.

1. I think it is helping me to slightly decide against the east coast for school. I don't know if I can handle a million months of winter a year. hmmm...

2. It's giving me the chance to make use of the tanning porch! I have laid out 2 or 3 times in the past week and it's been fabulous.

Speaking of which...

sunshine and smiles.

love is in the air

Valentines Day was surpurb. Well technically February 13 was awesome, as that was when Dustin and I celebrated. We went to dinner at BJs and then saw the movie Valentines Day. :] After then we went back to Beta...

It was so fabulous because he was making me laugh like crazy. I love those nights.

We have officially turned gift giving into a competition. Like everything we do together.
The competition is to see who gets who the perfect gift, not who spends the most.

I got him a huge bottle of Jack and the coolest flask ever. :] I also got him a Magellan GPS for his car (since the only thing we ever fight about is directions).

He got me a flour canister filled with hot tomales (the candy) that said "You are one hot tomale" on the side. The big gift was a ring which, on the wrapping said- my heart is tied to yours. :]

That is all for now, I NEED to study.

xoxo.

babies

In the movies there is always a girl who knows a million people who are getting married or having kids.... and feels left out... bam.

Me.

What is ironic is that I don't want to get married or have kids, right now. But it just gives you that yearning feeling.

Maybe that's the point. So when it is your turn it makes it that much better.

In the mean time, congratulations everyone. Specifically Kieren. :]

the plan.

So I have always been a believer of God has a plan, even if you can't see it.

Well after ADPi elections in September, I definitely couldn't see it. And even after I got on panhellenic I was still sore about not being able to live out my "dream."

But today I officially saw the light. Not being president has opened up so many other doors for me. Panhellenic is so much cooler than I thought it was going to be. I applied to be an orientation leader this summer. Im working 3 jobs (if you include panhellenic). and I joined Psi Chi (which I am now thinking of running to be the president in the fall).

And what is even better is I still have so much more time for the people who mean the most to me.

I now know that if I was president I wouldn't have any of the time for all these things and that there would have been a small chance that relationships I have with family, friends, and Dustin, would have had some strain put on them.

And what is even better about "seeing the light" is that I can finally let go of this resentment about the elections.

Thank God for this fabulous plan.

moving on.

Cleomenes.

Studying and homework.

Lame.

But today has been ultra productive.

Thank you Cleomenes for committing suicide by cutting off as much skin as you could handle before dying. You make Sparta so much more exciting.

self mutilation.

Wishes

I wish for graduation to be closer.

To get the orientation leader job.

For my loan to be finalized.

And to get one of the scholarships I am applying for.

wish.

The most wonderful weekend ever. :]

So I just had the most wonderful weekend ever.

Friday-

Got ready for moms party, got our nails, toes, and eye brows done together, and had dinner with Jan, Chris, Dustin, and our family. :] We went to Los Olivos- we had such a great time. Our parents really hit it off. Plus I ordered a margarita. double coolness. After the party, I went home and worked on moms cake for a million years.

Saturday- Got ready for the party from 8 am until 7 pm. :] Then the party began. So many people came- Kirk, Nancy, Grandfather and Sally, Susan, Cammie, Cari, The Shermans, Tracy and Anna, Nicki and Cindy, Dustin, Jan and Chris, Kieren, Jules, Jane and Jerry Capadice, and Bee and Mike, Amanda, Tony and Melissa. It was absolutely fabulous! The food was great, the wine was a big hit, everyone loved the cake, and I got to spend some high quality time with my good friends and family. Here are some more pictures (I'll put more up when I get some from my mom- I didn't actually get to take a lot of pictures.

Then Julie, Cammie, and Dustin spent the night and we played six cups and a die, as well as kings cup with my wasted mom. :] it was hilarious. She opened her gifts, and then in the morning she had to re-open them all because she couldn't remember a thing.

Well that is a pretty good recap of my weekend. Oh! Dustin wrote something like this in my moms birthday card- Its been such a blessing getting to know your daughter and it means the world to Kelly and I that you met my parents this weekend. :] Precious.

Uncle Eric is still in the hospital- everyday is an up and down roller coaster.

memories.

The weekend!

Well its not officially the weekend... I have to go to 2 more classes... and then a house corp meeting... but THEN its the weekend.

Tonight: Have you seen in Date Dash. Fabulous. Julie and I are going as Coyote Ugly bartenders. :]
Dustin can't go, he has a butt load of homework to do, and work til midnight.

Tomorrow, Friday: Leaving for Phoenix at 8:30 am... going to get pedicures with mom. Then grocery shopping for the party, baking the fabulous cake, getting the house all ready, laundry, etc. before dinner with my family and Dustins family. That's right. They're finally meeting. :]

Saturday: The party of the century. "Like a fine wine, everything gets better with age" Its my moms 50th birthday and its going to be awesome. I won't go on too much about that because I have full intentions of loading a ton of pictures after the weekend.

Uncle Eric is still in the hospital. They went in and took more pictures of his lungs today, and they're going to start talking more surgery options again. We'll see what happens. I'm just glad I have had the opportunity to go home so much. I think I've been home every week that he has been in. So that's nice.

I think thats been all that has been going on in my world. Im out.

Thursday.
