Today, Dustin and I will be sharing three years of love.
We celebrated with a delicious dinner at Ticos in Phoenix this past weekend. Soooo yummy.
On my own I'm only half of what I could be
I can't do without you
We are stitched together
And what love has tethered
I pray we never undo

The day we met, Revenge of the Nerds Party
I have been lucky enough to find someone who laughs at my jokes, compliments and understands my flaws, loves and appreciates what makes me me, treats me like a lady, loves me unconditionally, and makes me feel like I'm complete.
And I feel to blessed to say I love him with every inch of my soul.
The first time I heard this song, was on my Uncles Birthday. Ironic? Yes. Driving alone in my car coming from Tucson to Phx. [aka Tear City for Kelly in the car] And even more ironic, that night Nicki text me to ask if I was doing okay (which I immediately thought- how did she know I was crying?! but it was because she knew it was his birthday).
It makes me think, what is my version of the song?
I'd bring mom with me and have a girls day with her and my Nana. Afterwards we'd have some Pepsis with Aunt Peggy and Aunt Patty.
I would give my Uncle Eric the biggest hug and talk to him about graduation. and life. and everything. and maybe watch an episode of Doug. Grandpa Bill and I would sing the oldest songs ever together. Haley Ford and I would take a dance class with her mom watching by. Great-a-moomoo (my great grandmother) would tell me stories of when my grandfather was younger.
Those are just a few things I would do if heaven wasn't so far away.
So you've seen some pretty nasty images fromthe accident, but what you might not know is the day was fabulous before then!
A. the weather was PERFECT for the boat, but no one was on the lake! = extra awesome.
B. Mark taught me to drive? [steer?]the boat!!! Pretty fabulous. Captain Kelly. I like the sound of that! Dustin got a lesson too :)
Captain Dustin
C. I had my best wakeboard ride that day! I was doing little jumps and stuff. [note- when the day started I told myself I would just go for it, because sometimes I get scared and chicken out of trying to jump and stuff- but I figured, what was the worst that could happen? A hard fall and a headache? wrong. haha]

Look at that air! haha
I loved being on the lake with Dustin and the Johnsons. Some of my favorite people :) Can't wait to get back out there!!!
on my hiatus from blogging, I neglected to mention that Dustin and I made our next step as a couple, and he moved to Phoenix [for me].
Which has been incredible. He'll be living 50 feet from my best girl friend, Nicki, aaaannnnddd he got his first real adult job to fund his new bachelor pad.
pretty stinkin sweet

For the last month he has been living with me and my fam at our place while he eagerly awaited the vacancy in his apartment [aka tomorrow morning].
I'm so sad to see him leave, mostly because sleepovers rock, but I am so excited for both him, and us [as a couple], to be making this next step.
Maybe life after college isn't so bad after all.
p.s. I just registered for real estate school yesterday. and I am so excited to start September 3rd.
Some of my most memorable pranks include peeing in a cup and making a faux olive out of a grape and placing it in a toilet filled with ice (circe 200and5ish? with Nicki and Sarah).
It would also include putting this sign on the adpi microwave. Please note that no one actually did this. But the reactions to the sign was probs the best thing in existence.
