And most recently

I was in Phoenix for the past few days.

Tuesday night Brandon and I spent about 5 hours at Brennans(a pub by our house), playing pool. It was really nice to get to spend time with just the 2 of us- I think he may actually like me. :)

Wednesday was busy- as I feel the my times in Phoenix always are with so many people to see.

Lunch with Amanda was reeeaaalllllyyy nice. We absolutely never get time with just the 2 of us and it was a real treat. :) Im excited to get some time this year to come up and visit her at NAU! fun fun fun.

Then I went to Kierens for a few hours- we strolled around Fashion Square Mall and had a delicious caramel apple. YUM!

That night I spent with my family having dinner and watching SYTYCD (which is maybe the 2nd time Ive seen the show in 3 years- it makes me too sad). I also got some knit on, which has also been forever.

Thursday I had lunch with Nicki and Kieren- where we decided to start a book club. Awesome idea! I think it will give us another way to bond and to stay close. :)

Now I back in Tucson... for .5 seconds. Tomorrow morning I go back to Phoenix for the day, then Sunday Im leaving for a week with the Hendersons in Palm Springs! exciting!!!

What else have I been up to?

On July 15th I had dinner with Jill- shes a fun person to talk with. :)

I've been working a lot which is nice for the ol billfold!

I had some lunch with Kate the next day at Beyond Bread. Delicious and fun.

That night Natasha and I took 4th by storm. And by storm I mean we went to Mallonys and O'Malleys. But it was a blast! We ran into other friends at both places which was nice.

On Saturday I did a lot of crafting with my cards and worked some.

Sunday- Nicki time. Which is always a good time. Went to dinner with her and Cindy- BJ's. LOVE. That night I went out with Nicki and Kristen- had a blast!

The next weekend Dustin and I went to Phoenix to go boating with my family and the Johnsons! So much fun, as usual!

The next night we took Amanda out for her birthday to Mill. Now let me begin by saying ASU obviously can't compete with UA in the party section because 99% of their bars weren't even open on Sunday. pshhh.

It was awesome getting to hang out with her in that kind of element, I love going out. :)

The next day Dustin left for California- boo.

Later I went and spent some high quality time with Kieren- doing what girls do best- talk. And it was awesome to spend some one on one time with her. She's awesome. Then Anson came home (who I'm liking more and more every time I see him) and I stayed for dessert with some of their friends. It's always nice meeting new people.

The next day I washed Chauncey (the bug), ran some errands, and had dinner with the Reeds! Love them and it was really really nice to actually get to see them for more than 5 seconds!

Family Vacation

Bass Lake was amazing. I am feeling so blessed to be able to get to know so many family members, especially as a young adult- Im learning about who they are and actually remember them (a huge problem if you were under the age of 8 the last time you saw a lot of those peeps).

Someone has spoiled me today.

The day started off by lazy wakeup with Dustin, and goofing off for a good hour (the bruises should show up in the next few days).

Later today Dustin treated me to a movie, Eclipse, which I loved.

After we strolled into Dillards where he bought me Be Delicious, the parfum and lotion. How freaking precious is that?! I am always being treated so well by Dustin emotionally, he truly loves me. But it was really nice to be treated to an extra something something. I had made casual comment a while back about my perfume getting low (totally casually, not hinting- promise) and he wanted to replenish my shortage!

Afterward we went and had a delicious dinner at Macaroni Grill. yum!

The question is: spoiled rotten? heck no. I am so absolutely grateful to have such a caring guy who would want to surprise me with a treat every now and then. I don't take his love or his graciousness for granted- I'm a truly blessed woman.

So my brother has a freaking awesome camera that my grandfather gave him (well considering I dont know any real information about cameras its awesome compared to my little $150 digital guy).

While we were at bass lake, after I had given up on horse shoes I decided to try and be artistic.

Did I mention that I use the camera more than Brandon does. :)
