Cool Things: 

Waking up on my new bed, on my new sheets, under my new comforter, with new pillows under my head. Thanks graduation funds!
Work today- I took the little one [as per request of his mom] to the movies, the library, the mall, and then to his day camp = getting paid for the easiest 5 hours ever.
The class I took today at the gym. Kicked my butt and I love it.[also, the preggo woman gettin her fintess on]

Today was a nice combination of fun time and work time (and the best kind of work time).

I started the day with Lauren taking pictures all around Downtown Phoenix, as evidenced here.

She was just what the doctor ordered. I was in major need of great friend time, and I can't wait to have more photography sessions with her in the future. [and share pretty much the same post grad path together]

Then I went to work for about 7 hours, but I was caring for a family friend Chad, so we pretty much got to hang out and have fun.

Mom and I hit up the gym tonight. Kelly + mom + endorphins = awesome. 

Looking forward to a day off while celebrating Dad tomorrow! woo hoo!!

Well, I am officially a week and a half away from reliving those memories, but with Dustin and my dad there. In addition to enough bug repellent stuff to kill a small child [keep um away from me that week because I'm not taking any chances with the mosquitoes this year]

Cool things and not so cool things

Cool things

- my under armor socks (yes, Im wearing another pair today)

- When an event planner e-mails you back and wants to meet up with you(especially when she just started her own planning company- freaking awesome time to get involved with one)

- being so freaking excited to see Nicki's new apartment (come home from your awesome vacation please- oh wait, Im going on vacation when you get home. poop.)

- my NEW BED (well so far I only have the mattress and box springs- frame to come after vaca)

- tacos for dinner.

Not So Cool Things

- Tired feet from being on them all day

- "friends" who never text you back or want to hang out

- not knowing what to wear on your vacation (hot or cold clothes) but being told very clearly to pack lightly

- my incredibly itchy/dry eyes. and Im almost out of Clear Eyes

What a day!

Two roads diverged in a wood

I have always been a planner of sorts [in that I plan everything and nothing deviates from said plan]

So that put me in quite a predicament when a thought popped into my head that I may no longer want to go to Pepperdine. 

I have a pros and cons list a mile long [can anyone say Type A?], and spent quite some time weighing my options.

I came down to this:

I know for sure that I can't afford Pepperdine without a huge loan &&& I don't know if I want to be a psychologist anymore.

Pretty huge reasons, right?

So after  very careful deliberating I have decided that, I will no longer be attending Pepperdine in the fall [and I am currently looking into deferring my acceptance- either way, I will not be there in the fall]

Wow. So that's the "big news" in my life. You may be wondering, so whats the plan [because there is always a plan]

I am going to use the next year to "find myself". There are a lot of venues I'm interested in, and I want to explore them all 

As you know, I've been dabbling in photography (just ordered some business cards) and you will also notice I have added and Event Planning to that blog title.

I am currently looking into event planning! I will be using the help of some friends (more specifically their moms) to network, I went to the Arizona Bridal Show today to meet some planners, you know. [side note- I was green with envy when I saw a million engagement rings- God help me with that envy, please]

Basically, I feel like my world is... upside down? I don't have a "plan" and I won't be in school. weird. I know this is the best decision for me at this time, but it still feels strange.

Which one did you like the best? It took me a million years to pick the 5 that went out in graduation announcements. She's just so talented! and inspired me to take a look into photography myself.
