mostly cool things

Cool Things: 

Waking up on my new bed, on my new sheets, under my new comforter, with new pillows under my head. Thanks graduation funds!
Work today- I took the little one [as per request of his mom] to the movies, the library, the mall, and then to his day camp = getting paid for the easiest 5 hours ever.
The class I took today at the gym. Kicked my butt and I love it.[also, the preggo woman gettin her fintess on]

Not so cool things:

Missing Dustin. baaaa.
Being in a weird mood today in spite of the awesome things happening today.

Today was a nice combination of fun time and work time (and the best kind of work time).

I started the day with Lauren taking pictures all around Downtown Phoenix, as evidenced here.

She was just what the doctor ordered. I was in major need of great friend time, and I can't wait to have more photography sessions with her in the future. [and share pretty much the same post grad path together]

Then I went to work for about 7 hours, but I was caring for a family friend Chad, so we pretty much got to hang out and have fun.

Mom and I hit up the gym tonight. Kelly + mom + endorphins = awesome. 

Looking forward to a day off while celebrating Dad tomorrow! woo hoo!!

Cool things:

Getting to come into work late = sleep in.
being Natasha's "domestic partner" for her work bowling activity = time with Natasha + free bowling.

Surprise Thank You

Last week at work I got a package, which was pretty weird. [getting a package at work?]

I opened up the [cutest] box to find this little guy inside.

And a note from a couple thanking me for giving them and their son tours and for making their trip to Tucson (they're from the south) a nice visit.

How freaking thoughtful is that?!

And to make it even better, Rittner, the manager of another property gave me a compliment and said I should be so proud of my gift. :)

Superbowl Boobday

I don't know if you can call it a Boob Day if you only see one boob.

But I'm going to do it. Today is Boob Day. and the Superbowl just happens to be falling on it.

When working a Superbowl shift, Melissa and I had this old lady come up to us asking for a keychain. When we told her she had to buy a Coors Light to get a keychain she whipped out her boob.

What else can I say about that? nothing.

But we did meet this awesome older women, who was awesome.

First Coors Light in 25 years.
