Photo Challenge

I just reviewed some pretty fantastic memories I put down in the 30 day photo challenge I started last December. Although I didn't even get close to finishing it in the 30 days, I went in order and really enjoy looking back on it.

So I decided to up the anty. 

I'm going to go with a monthly challenge [some inspiration from this place], to document that months happenings, as they relate to the challenge for the month. Goal- get me taking more pictures with my wonderful camera, and get me blogging more.

So, my 30 day photo challenge should have neded about 2 months ago.

But I was waiting for a good picture for day 30. I don't know what makes this one the perfect but I am glad I waited.

I obviously miss my uncle. and I've talked about that a lot recently, so I'll go with Dustin.

I haven't seen him in a while (he's in SD right now with family), and its very easy to miss someone you love very much.

Day 26 - A picture of something that means a lot to you

Hmm... something that means a lot to me...

Im not one to have material possessions that mean a lot to me- my family and friends mean the world to me.

But I get the idea that this question should have a material answer. So Im going to go with some jewlery I have received recently. My diamond earrings I got on my 21st birthday from my parents, and a beautiful set of pearls that I received from the Johnsons this past Christmas.

Thank you guys for the fabulous jewelry. I love the classic look. :)

Day 25 - A picture of your day

Today I made breakfast for Dustin, Kayla, and my family.

It was delicious! Eggs, bacon, pancakes with my sweet apple cinnamon reduction. (tutorial to come)

And it's even better when served on leftover Christmas party paper plates.

There isn't anything I would like to change... if we were talking about the past or something. Because as I have said, you learn from everything. But I think this is ironic this is falling on new years day, because I'm going to apply it to a new years resolution.

1. Learn to really play the piano.

2. Tone my body into a cruise ready figure.

playing the piano. I started about 2 weeks ago, and I would like to think I'm decent for how long I've been playing but we'll see what happens. We'll use a Miss Nicki for my piano playing inspiration. She's very patient when listening to me play. :)

Day 17 - A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently

Recently? Huge impact? No idea.

My 4.0 is very important to me. It's been something I've been striving for for-ever and I'm so happy to have it.

But the most recent thing that has had a huge impact on my life has been my uncles death.

This Christmas season has been really rough. My brother took over his tradition of wrapping our gifts in the funnies from the newspaper, but it doesn't make up for him not being with us.

At least physically.

I know he is with me all the time.

Day 15 - A picture of something you want to do before you die

Before I die, I would like to visit New York City, again.

I would love to go over the summer to experience it when it isn't freezing, and I'd also love to go during Christmas time.

Some stops on my trip: Central Park for a picnic, and the Empire State Building for some sights, and a boat ride around the coast would be awesome.

Dustin. He is my best friend, my rock, my other half.

He totally gets me, and loves everything about me...

even the parts that are less than becoming.

He respects his family, is smart, driven, and

one of the most caring people I have ever met.
