Mini Treats

Lauren and I decided to celebrate Starbucks' 40th anniversary with some of their free mini desserts.

So, graduation = no more ADPi... which I hate. BUT it also = a party, which I LOVE planning.

Here is my invite!

I want it to be an adult, more mature carnival. My inspiration is coming straight from the invitation.

I would like to make pennant signs like this, which would be bigger pennants, with a letter on each one. Near the front door- Congratulations, Candyland near the candy bar, etc.

Speaking of candy bar here is my favorite inspirational picture, but I think I'd like to go with white, red and blue candies.

I found some popcorn bags that I would also like to stuff to put on the candy bar as well.

For food I'm thinking carnival food. Hot Dogs? Yes please. 

I also want to have some games to make the party more interactive. I think the one reason people don't stay at graduation parties as long as desired is because its just standing around and taking. 

So to combat party poopers (beside adding booze and punch for my non-drinking friends and soon to be moms) I am adding games like corn hole. It's going to be fabulous. 

I'm not too sure about other decorations yet, but this is going to be a start (also depending on how cheep I can get my desires for). 

I'm so excited.

Art Snob

So "art" isn't my thing. as evidenced here.

But, there is an event at UA that was thought up by one of our own Alpha Delta Pi's Taylor Bilby (UA ASUA Senator).

Tanzbodeli, is a music and art festival featuring UA musicians and artists. All proceeds going to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Yesterday Taylor let us know if there was any art we would like to have in the auction (all proceeds again going to the boobies), to submit a contract and we're in!

So I'm going to submit a piece. and I'm wanting your ideas.. what do you like best?

Alpha Delta Pi participated in Pikes Fire Fighter Challenge this past weekend (events where the funds go toward firefights).

Saturday I participated in the dodgeball tournament.

Later that night Lauren and I stayed in to relax, do homework, and watch hours of The Office = Fabulous.

Date Night, Dinner and a movie

Date nights with Dustin are the best. 

We decided on dinner and a movie, classic. 

But what is better than regular old dinner? B Line Cafe.

 they have precious flowers on all the tables. 

I was jealous of the tables with tulips on them.

 Some of my loves- iced tea, chocolate, and strawberries.

 look at how beautiful this is. 

Even though Dustin was extra upset that it cost $1.95. Worth it. 

Dessert gone. 

We saw Just Go With It (Jennifer Aniston- my favorite- and Adam Sandler), which turned out to be hilarious!

- finding hair in my socks.

- continuously having to vacuum my carpet 

because of hair all over it.
